Chinese Medicine

Chinese medicine uses both acupuncture and herbal therapies, among others, to treat and prevent disease as well as improve general well-being. These tools have been applied consistently and successfully for thousand of years. For a significant portion of the world’s population the main components of health care are and have been acupuncture and herbal therapies.

One of the potential advantages of Chinese medicine is that it aims to improve overall body health treating not just symptoms but the person as an integral mind/body organism. It also minimizes side effects and overall toxicity from drug treatments and/or other procedures.

Chinese herbs may be administered in bulk, granule, powdered, tincture, tea-pill, and/or liniment forms. Herbs are recommended to help increase your treatment potential. They may be given as a strong medicinal tea, a milder nutritional supplement, or an externally applied agent to help relieve symptoms and normalize the body's functions.
